Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and Singer (born in NYC on the 22nd of November 1984) Her range of talents as an actor has garnered her much acclaim in everything from the dramas of the past to thrillers and even adventures. To enhance her acting skills, she joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan and then she attended the Professional Children's School. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then had her first appearance in a film on screen in North (1994) and was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson then appeared in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who escape. At the age of a young girl, she became interested in performing. Smith's parents helped her with finding her first stage role when she was just six. In a commercial on television, she starred as Dannon Yogurt. Like the majority of actresses just getting started, to improve her skills in theatre. Additionally, she was involved in various productions across the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her first onstage production. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
