Mitchell experienced a difficult moment and Angela was the inspiration for her music Angel on her debut album. The song was featured in the 7th Heaven Episode Nothing Endures But Change and in Chicken Soup for Preteen Soul she wrote about her experiences. The friend of Mitchell Angela died in a crash at the age of 15. Mitchell was terribly affected by the encounter with this tragedy, and Angela is the main reason behind Mitchell's hit song Angel on her debut album. Her publication Chicken Soup of the Preteen Soul as well as the 7th Heaven episode, Nothing Endures But Change also mentions the incident.
