In 2004 when he received an offer, he accepted the opportunity to join Google. Pichai started his Google venture as President of Product Management. His initial mission was to increase the users' satisfaction with his Google search toolbar that could be utilized with Internet Explorer as well as Firefox. He was involved in many Google productslike Gadgets as well as Google Gears. Sundar achieved his breakthrough on Google's development when he began cooperating with the browser of Google, Chrome. The year 2008 came out to be marvelous with the launch of Google Chrome and the announcement of Pichai being the Vice for Product Management and Development. Pichai was promoted to the rank of Senior Vice President, and later promoted to the position of Product Chief Officer of Google along with the Android Smartphone Operating System.
